At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn, We remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live; for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

Sorry, it's been a while ! / Karen (Auntie) Hey, Laurie, I think my last name is obvious considering I am your sister. I didn't feel the need to put my last name is what I'm saying. I just wanted to say that I lit a candle and I'm sorry it had been a while. I had some things to work out for myself. But I lit a candle tonight for Nathan Jr. I just hope you are doing okay with everything. I also want you to know that you are one of the strongest people I know. Handling your son's death and STILL being able to raise four other kids. I think you are a great mom and I Love the other children. And I meant it when I said " If you need anything, any help with the kids, just let me know ! I'll be here !! " Take it easy Laurie, and I see you have lots of support from other moms. That is so great. I hope you don't ever forget that, even tho you met those people over the internet, that they are your friends too. You don't realize who your true friends are until you get support like that from people like them !! And I just recently realized that ! And thank you for everything you have done. Brett and I really appreciate it !! I Love You !! You and Nathan and the kids are in my thoughts. I don't pray much these days, but my thoughts are always with you !!

Precious tiny Nathan / FRANCES LEE (Mommy to angel Adam ) I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful precious baby son Nathan. What a beautiful family of love he was born into. It is unbelievable the pain of loosing a child, no one understands it till they have been there themselves, and it is only through sites like this that we know we are sadly not alone. Your tributes and poems to Nathan are beautiful. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time,

Last night while I was trying to sleep,
My son's voice I did hear.
I opened my eyes and looked around
But he did not appear.
He said, "Mom you've got to listen,
You've got to understand.
God didn't take me from you, Mom
He only took my hand.
When I called out in pain that night,
The instant that I died,
He reached down and took my hand,
And pulled me to His side.
He pulled me up and saved me
From the misery and pain
My body was hurt so badly inside,
I could never be the same.
My search is really over now,
I've found happiness within,
All the answers to my empty dreams
And all that might have been.
I love you and miss you so,
And I'll always be nearby.
My body's gone forever,
But my spirit will never die!
And so, you must go now,
Live one day at a time.

Words cannot begin to heal your borken heart, there are none...the sun still sets and rises with each passing day, but our days are different you see, because we are the parents of an angel. I am so very sorry for the loss of your son Nathan. I wish i coudl wash away your hurt, your pain and bring him back to you...I wish it for all of us. But I cannot. Please know that there are people who know your pain, and I am one of them. I too lost a child, a little girl named Kiah Grace, she was 2 1/2 and passed last November 30th 04. She had a heart defect and had complications following her 4th heart surgery. If you ever need to talk, please call on me. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers.
