Why god takes Children.
When god calls little children to dwell with him above, We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with, The death of one small child, who does so much to make our world, seem womdeful and mild.
Perhaps god tires of calling the aged to his fold, So he picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so he takes but few, to make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, The saddest word mankind knows will always be good -bye.
So when a little child departs we who are left behind must realize god loves children Angels are hard to find...

Thank you Laurie / Ray Bittinger (none) on behalf of nick's family, thank you for your kind words, but i want you and your family to know that we grieve for your loss as well. i had my son for 17 yrs. 10 mths., he was my only son. nick was a good kid, a tremendous athlete and most importantly, a loving son, brother and grandson to our family. nick loved children, and often would talk about raising his own family someday. he was denied that chance, but i like to think of him as caring for all the children who are taken from us. may god bless you and your family, especially little nathan.
feeling your pain / Sandy Kelley (none) thank you so much for your kindness shown to my son kevin, i know he is in heaven with your son nathan looking over him. kevin loved childern. it does not matter how young or how old a child is they will always be our children. i am so sorry you are having to go through this alone. i hope your husband will be back soon so he can help you share this pain.
again, know our children will live on and we will see them again in heaven when our time comes. they will meet us with open arms. take good care of yourself and pray daily this is the only way i survive one day at a time.

I was reading over the tributes for my niece Kailey Bowles and I came across yours. I wanted to say thankyou for your thoughts and prayers. I am also sorry for the lose of your son. Kailey always loved making new friends and she loved babies. I can see her playing with him now. I am a mother of three boys, and I could not imagine how it feels to lose a child. It has been really hard for me to come to terms with the death of my beautiful niece. Every time I look at her pictures I ask God "why did you take someone like her away from us?". You and your son will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless Close
